Rooting At The Speed Of Trust

Join zen teacher and RBI founder, Joko Roshi, and qigong master, Su of Xiuning Wellness, in an exploration of qigong movement and zen koan meditation, and sharing from the heart.

Take a step into the embodiment of mind-body-spirit and all that you’ve worked for, whether you’re integrating expanded states experiences or are taking the very first step in your evolution.

Both the psychedelic field and our social fabric are asking for us to re-vision community. Thich Nhat Hanh said, the next Buddha is the Sangha (spiritual practice community).

Among the Buddhists paths, zen is the most direct and zen koans are used to point the way. Beginners can easily enter this practice.

The sequence:

  • Su and Joko give orientation pointers
  • Checkin dyads using a prompt
  • Sitting for 30 minutes with a zen koan
  • Qigong for 30 minutes
  • Integration dyads using a prompt
  • Su and Joko invite questions and comments

Joko’s zen and Su’s Chinese medicine lineages are rooted in ancient Chinese traditions that can help us break free in midst of our predicaments. The effects of meditation and qigong are often relaxing and regulating to the nervous system, and the benefits ripple into our day to day life.

Joko has been calling in opportunities to collaborate with other spiritual teachers. She met Su in Tilden Park when he was practicing martial arts, and they began conversing. Su grew up in one of the oldest Chinese monasteries, and now practices Chinese medicine and martial arts in the East Bay. Check out his YouTube video.

No experience is needed. For questions email Joko. This event is by donation; register to receive the building entry code.
